Status Updates

In case you’re wondering…

No, I haven’t fallen off the face of the planet, though I’ve taken a few nose dives into heaps of laundry (that fiend which never dies). So here’s what’s going on with all the projects that are currently incomplete:

Derailed

I know, I know, it’s been several summers since this thing was supposed to be finished, and honestly, I just want it to be done. If I could go “Poof!” and have the whole thing written, edited, and graphicized (made up that word) I would. Believe me. Or don’t believe me. I’ve lied to you before, after all. Realistically, I have no idea when Derailed will be finished. It’s done in my head, mostly, but the process of extracting it has proven more painful and slow than I anticipated. What I can tell you is that I will be working on it. Soon. And one day it will be finished.

Forgive Me

It’s possible that Forgive Me will be finished before Derailed, but not likely. It’s nowhere near finished, and I don’t like dividing myself between too many plots. Everything gets all muddled in my head when I do that. (It’s kinda like reading two books in the same genre at the same time. Don’t read “The Hunger Games” and “Divergent” at the same time, by the way.) I’m really excited about continuing the Logoria Series, and I hope to get things rolling fairly soon.

New Online Series

This has been tabled for the time being. Juggling between my other projects has made this a necessity. I love to write, and I need the practice, so I’ll be doing a new one in the future, but for now, it’s just not a priority.

Other Stuff

I may take to blogging more than occasionally next year. I’ve always felt that less is more, especially with words (which is funny, because I tend to ramble) so I think I’ll limit my blogging to things that 1) actually matter 2) I actually know something about 3) haven’t been talked about to death. That should reign in the rambling considerably. Writing about personal experiences is high on my list. Places I’ve gone, things I’ve tried, and all that. I’ve been “pre-schooling” my daughter for the past year and may do a blog on that. Still mulling things over, so we’ll see. At any rate, I have until next year to figure it out, right? This year has plenty on its plate already.

The holidays are fast approaching, and nothing gets done from November to February, so I’d better get to work.
