A Simple Encouragement for the Works in Progress

Hey all! A few words of encouragement, followed by a few updates.

Being a parent is many things, but if I had to choose just one word to describe it, it would be this: humbling. In my pre-baby days, I was that single gal who couldn’t really relate to the struggles of other parents. I didn’t understand the unrelenting pressure of sleepless nights followed by grueling work days. Now that I “get it” I am so grateful that I, one, kept my parenting advice mostly to myself, and two, have been blessed with two little human beings who push me to be more thoughtful, more kind, and more focused. I’ve also learned that, whatever season of life I’m in, I should enjoy the gifts I have been given (family, friends, and all the mundane little moments that happen with them), because the true riches of life can’t be found in material things.

Now for the updates:

I’ve been updating the site’s theme. I’ll be playing around with color schemes and graphics a bit, but everything should be finalized in a few weeks.

Expect Derailed to be available by Summer 2018. I don’t foresee anything being published this year, but it’s only March, and who knows what the summer will hold? Nah, I’d better not get your hopes up. Well, maybe. We’ll see.

No new updates for Forgive Me or a new online series, but I’ll give it some serious thought and get back to you.

Thanks for your support! Keep reading!
